Ashlee Jenkins

M.A., LCPC


Ashlee is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who earned her master’s degree in School Counseling from Capella University in December 2020 and received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Penn State University in 2012. Ashlee is a Maryland native and served for eight years in the Maryland Army National Guard as a medic, continuing to work in medicine until transitioning to counseling studies in 2017.
Prior to obtaining licensure to work in private practice, she has been working as a school counselor at both the high school and elementary school levels, seeing students of diverse backgrounds and addressing issues surrounding anxiety, depression, family and academic stress along with college and career counseling.

 

As a counselor, her passion lies in creating a positive impact on the lives of children and adolescents, guiding them through their formative years with empathy, understanding, and expertise. Through a combination of evidence-based therapies, compassionate listening, and collaborative goal-setting, she strives to empower her clients to overcome obstacles, build healthy relationships, and envision a future full of possibilities.
